What we collect
You can browse Gesheft without creating an account. If you create one, we collect your email address, phone number, optional name, account sessions, and the lists, registries, comments, or product submissions you choose to create. Products you save are stored in your browser so they remain available when you return.
Registry and list information
When a signed-in member selects or marks a registry gift bought, we associate that activity with their account and any note they choose to provide. The registry owner and authorized administrators can see that gift activity; it is not displayed to other public visitors.
Usage and click records
We record first-party product-click information such as the product, timestamp, referring page, and browser user-agent. We use this to operate the service, understand which products are useful, prevent abuse, and diagnose problems. We do not use third-party advertising pixels.
Affiliate links
Product links on this site are affiliate links. When you click through and buy something, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Once you leave this site, the retailer handles your visit under its own privacy policy.
We don’t sell your data
We do not sell or rent personal information for advertising. Information is used to provide and secure the features described here, and may be handled by service providers that host or operate the site on our behalf. Retailers receive information from your browser when you follow an outbound link.
